De cua d’ull, Interludi #2 amb LUCE

"De cua d'ull" is an expression used when you look at something stealthily or indirectly, without turning your head or paying open attention to it. It is like observing something using your peripheral vision, so that it seems as though you are not looking at it.

This is the gaze that LUCE incorporates into his artistic practice, a way of relating to public space that requires staying alert to everything happening around and adapting to circumstances as they arise.

The "modus operandi" of LUCE (Valencia, 1989) is the constant journey through the city. This is his space for exploration, learning and creation. The city and its periphery are the place of his origins in the field of graffiti.

And, rooted in this practice, is his interest in writing, which extends throughout all of his work. This second "Interludi" places the word at the centre and approaches it from disciplines such as performance practices, writing and sound.

Through these proposals, the word becomes a shared field of experimentation that generates a network of relationships, voices and temporalities. A space located between day and night, between that which is seen and that which remains hidden.
