El dret a la ciutat: Els barris de muntanya de Sant Genís a Trinitat nova

Exhibition curated by Fernando Marzá and Neus Moyano that explores the recent history of the neighborhoods located on the slopes of Collserola, where the terrain, infrastructure and urban planning decisions have conditioned—and often hindered—daily life.

Through images and stories of neighborhood struggle, the exhibition champions the "right to the city" as a collective achievement: access to mobility, decent housing, health, education and cultural services that build community.

"Housing, Health and Education" portrays a landscape made up of 1960s housing estates and self-built homes, alongside the constant fight to dignify spaces, services and the public realm.

It evokes the protests that challenged the 1953 Regional Plan under the slogan "No to the regional plan. Yes to a popular plan", as well as the urban transformation of Trinitat Nova.

The journey also addresses the socio-sanitary power of the surroundings—from Vall d'Hebron to the Mundet complex and the former psychiatric hospital—and educational achievements, ranging from schools in struggle and pedagogical renewal to adult literacy and current training projects.
