Gaudí: Finestres al Futur

Finestres al Futur is an exhibition presented by Palau Güell and YKK AP to mark the commemoration, this year 2026, of the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudí.

Starting from a specific and little-studied element of his work, the windows, it explores the innovative spirit and creativity of the architect, as well as his concept of the total work of art.

Coinciding with the exhibition, the coal cellar space will display the results of an international workshop aimed at architecture students from Japan and Catalonia, held in June and July 2025, which sought to develop new window ideas based on Gaudí's designs.

The exhibition is part of a broader educational and research project that includes the publication of a book, installations in other Gaudinian buildings and a documentary, among others. The main page of the project can be accessed via this link.
