Polyphia: BE NOT AFRAID World Tour

The American band Polyphia and the French project Perturbator share the stage at La Riviera as part of the BE NOT AFRAID tour.

Polyphia is an American progressive metal and rock band formed in Dallas in 2010. The lineup released their debut album, Muse, in 2014, and their sonic identity stands out for fusing complex instrumental technique with structures close to pop and art rock, without resorting to lead vocals in most of their repertoire. Meanwhile, Perturbator is the synthwave project led by the French musician active since 2012, the year in which he released his first recording work, TERROR 404, under the Blood Music label. His proposal explores dark-hued electronics and dense synthesizers.

Live, Polyphia brings their instrumental precision to the stage with multi-string guitars and rhythm sections executed with technical rigor, while Perturbator provides a staging focused on the power of electronic frequencies and the nocturnal atmosphere. The night brings together two projects from differentiated sonic universes but with a marked instrumental focus.

This date at La Riviera is aimed at fans of contemporary instrumental music and avant-garde sounds. The Madrid venue offers a spacious area equipped with good visibility from the floor and the elevated side areas, adapting to proposals that combine the power of guitars and electronics.
