Architecture is the body of the city. Graphic design is its skin. We contemplate the built space as a lived space where architecture and graphic design meet to germinate new relationships and create city. Like a body that needs a skin, like a skin that needs a body.

The exhibition Tu poses el cos. Jo poso la pell explores the links between two creative and technical disciplines that decisively contribute to creating city, in a physical sense but, above all, in terms of identity, image and meaning.

Often amicably, other times in a clash, but always with the result of bringing forth new realities that become incorporated into the city's identity and the experience of its inhabitants. Tu poses el cos.

Jo poso la pell proposes a journey through images that are iconic of the architecture-graphic design relationship within the specific space of Barcelona.

This visual content—which is partly historical, partly current, partly real and partly speculative—is structured into six chapters that suggest different forms of connection.

From typography applied to the built space to visual communication as a way of shaping architectural identity.

From the most brilliant moments of the alliance between graphic designers and architects to the illusion of contributing, through visual design, conditions to increase the well-being of those who use and experience the city.

Curated by Clara Mas and Albert Lopez-Amor, professionals in the field of design history and communication, the exhibition starts from the perspective of graphic design (the "I") when addressing architecture (the "you").

For this reason, most of the pieces included belong to the professional production of graphic designers. Some works have been specifically commissioned for the occ
