Amon Amarth

Amon Amarth arrive at the Palacio Vistalegre to deliver a melodic death metal performance featuring their usual thematic staging.

Amon Amarth is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in Tumba in 1992. The group is signed to the Metal Blade Records label and released their debut studio album, entitled Once Sent From the Golden Hall, in 1998. The band's musical style is characterised by a combination of the fast rhythms typical of the extreme genre alongside guitar melodies and themes centred on Norse mythology and Viking culture.

Live, Amon Amarth deploy a robust stage presence geared towards delivering a powerful repertoire, supported by stage design usually inspired by historical and mythological elements. Songs from later albums and the most recognised tracks of their career make up a set designed for regular fans of extreme metal and heavy sounds.

This date in Madrid brings together an audience aligned with the more melodic strands of death metal within the Palacio Vistalegre venue, shaping a night of dense sound and sharp guitars on this tour stop.
