Canaan

How is a discourse of hate and supremacy constructed? And how is the resilience of a people continually suffering aggression built? Why does a people need to expand its living space? Is it greed? Religious fanaticism? Vengeance? To whom does a piece of land belong, or perhaps the land belongs to no one? We have not found all the answers we would like, but nevertheless, we cannot remain silent lamenting our inaction. It is the poetry and traditional music of Anatolia, Greece, and the Levantine Mediterranean that, together with creators from other places, have given us a little light and make us vibrate with those people, our neighbours, who are suffering or are no longer here.
