EKHO / Cleric + Truncate

The Madrid club hosts a new electronic music session featuring performances by Truncate, Cleric, Nuke and Cesar Almena.

The programme at ART Madrid Club brings together several exponents of the international and local techno scene for this event organised under the EKHO label. On the one hand, the US project Truncate, driven by producer David Mancuso in Los Angeles, contributes its distinctively industrial and minimalist sound, recognisable on record releases issued on labels such as Mute or his own imprint. On the other hand, the British artist Cleric adds his contribution to the bill with dark and rhythmic productions, which are regular fixtures on catalogues such as Clergy.

The line-up is completed by resident artists Nuke and Cesar Almena, key figures in the trajectory of the Madrid club and in the promotion of techno in the capital over recent decades. On stage, the flow of the session combines DJ sets and live performances focused on the club space, featuring long instrumental developments and a structure geared towards the dancefloor. This proposition is aimed at fans of club electronic music and hard-hitting sounds, in a venue equipped with specific technical infrastructure for this genre.
