Exposició de pintura abstracta contemporània

The artist César Morant, who develops his artistic practice under the name SAR, will present a selection of his recent work from 5th to 7th October at BNEW Experience 2026, at DFactory Barcelona.

The presentation brings together large-format abstract paintings, created mainly with acrylic, oil and pastel on canvas.

SAR's work is built upon gesture and action. Without any prior sketch, each piece evolves through layers, overlays, corrections and accumulations until achieving a formal, chromatic and energetic balance.

The result preserves the traces of the creative process and turns the surface into a record of decisions, tensions and transformations.
