Fran Pati - Y tú, ¿tienes pueblo?

The new show by the Manchegan comedian Fran Pati comes to the Capitol Gran Vía every Saturday from 3 October to 26 December with a stand-up routine where it does not matter whether you come from a village or a city: anyone can identify with and laugh at his cheeky, innocent humour full of improvisation.

A show in which the artist takes his experience of moving from a Manchegan village on the plains of Albacete to Madrid as a starting point to observe, from a peculiar viewpoint, current trends and the lives of those who hang out in neighbourhoods like Malasaña or Chueca.

In this stand-up routine, the comedian from Albacete compares Madrid with his homeland and reviews how times have changed from childhood to the present day. Constant interaction with the audience and impeccable improvisation turn the show into an accessible and contemporary comedy plan which, as Fran himself says, is brilliant.

Fran Pati is one of the directors of the famous comedy open mic La Cueva Comedy Club. He trained at La Escuela de Artes de la Comedia and the Liceo de Comedia in Madrid. Together with Diego Daño and Eva Soriano he created the company GOLFOS and with Nacho García he opened the doors of the comedy club El Golfo Comedy Club in Madrid.

Furthermore, he is part of the show Cuatro motes manchegos, which has been on a national tour for three seasons. He has taken part in various comedy competitions and has received awards such as first prize in the Fiesta de la Vendimia de Jumilla Competition and second place in the Alatoz Stand-up Competition. On the other hand, he has collaborated on Cuerpos especiales on Europa FM, Despiértame, Juanma on Melodía FM and Late Motiv on #0 by Movistar+.
