Jazzy pres. Egyptian Lover

Egyptian Lover arrives at the stage of Lula Club in Madrid to deliver a session focused on the electronic sounds of Los Angeles.

Egyptian Lover is the musical project of this American producer and DJ originally from Los Angeles. Active since the late seventies, his career spans the boundaries of early hip-hop and electro music, featuring widely recognised releases in his discography such as the album On the Nile, published in the eighties under the Stones Throw Records label. On stage, his usual repertoire combines programmed electronic backing tracks with drum machines and live mixing.

This performance in Madrid is well-suited for those who follow the historical evolution of electronic music and West Coast American hip-hop. The format of the evening takes place in the venue Lula Club, designed to host this type of musical proposition with a sense of intimacy between the audience and the artist.
