Joan Claret. Pintures. 1960-1965

Galeria d'Art Marc Domènech presents an exhibition focused on the pictorial career of Joan Claret during the five-year period between 1960 and 1965.

This exhibition brings together a selection of paintings signed by Joan Claret that document a key stage of his artistic evolution developed at the beginning of the 1960s. Visitors can tour the galleries of the exhibition space to observe canvases and pieces from this specific period up close, analysing the plastic language, use of colour and composition that characterise the author's work during those years. The curation of the exhibition structures the space to facilitate the visual reading of the exhibited works, making it possible to appreciate both the technical details and the coherence of the artistic production framed within Barcelona.

Galeria d'Art Marc Domènech, a space dedicated to the promotion of modern and contemporary art, hosts this cultural project designed for art lovers, researchers and the general public interested in mid-20th-century Catalan painting. The proposed itinerary invites visitors to pause at each work to understand Claret's creative context without distractions, following a sober staging that prioritises the direct contemplation of the pictorial pieces exhibited in the room.
