KALEO - Way Down We Go Tour

Icelandic band Kaleo stop off in Madrid as part of their Way Down We Go Tour to present their blues rock proposition live.

Kaleo is an Icelandic music group specialising in blues rock, formed in Mosfellsbær in 2012 and signed to the Elektra Records label, with which they released their self-titled debut album in 2013. Their sound is characterised by the combination of acoustic folk elements, southern rock and traditional blues, anchored by the recognisable and powerful lead vocals of their line-up, which brings a marked melancholic accent to their compositions.

On stage, this tour's repertoire covers the most representative songs from their discography, combining moments of instrumental intensity with acoustic guitar passages and an organic, direct concert tone. The staging prioritises instrumental execution and the weight of the vocal melodies over visual artfulness, in a format typical of mid-capacity theatres and concert venues.

This musical date is aimed at fans of roots rock, contemporary blues and indie-tinged pop who are looking for a performance focused on instrumental precision. The atmosphere of the venue is characterised by attentive and intimate listening, conducive to enjoying the careful acoustic dynamics that the band transfers from their studio recordings to the live show during this stop in Madrid.
