Loraine James and Pépe present their electronic music projects at the El Pumarejo venue in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.

Loraine James is a British electronic music producer who has been releasing records since 2016, the year she put out Bits and Bob's Your Uncle. Her musical work moves through experimental electronics, IDM and rhythmic deconstruction, exploring ambient textures under aliases such as Whatever the Weather and releasing on benchmark labels within the independent scene like Hyperdub. Live, the performance relies on the handling of electronic equipment and synthesizers to develop a predominantly instrumental and club-oriented repertoire.

For his part, Pépe brings to the bill a complementary vision of dance electronics, focused on the dancefloor and the modulation of synthetic frequencies and rhythms. The concert is aimed at audiences interested in avant-garde sounds and the less commercial strands of contemporary electronics. The El Pumarejo venue provides an ideal space to host this tour, characterised by a limited capacity that brings the audience close to the DJ booth and the technical equipment used during the performance.
