Michelle Gurevich

Michelle Gurevich performs at WOLF Barcelona as part of her tour, presenting a repertoire of low-fi pop and slow rock with deep Russian influences.

Michelle Gurevich is a Russian-Canadian singer, songwriter and performer who in her early artistic days used the stage name Chinawoman. Her musical career is characterised by a sonic aesthetic geared towards sadcore and lo-fi pop, marked by the cultural heritage of her Russian origins and a minimalist approach to composition.

Live, the performance focuses on vocal delivery and a relaxed atmosphere, featuring a sober concert format that prioritises lyrics and austere instrumentation over stage pyrotechnics. The repertoire reviews the most representative songs from her independently released discography.

This date in Barcelona is aimed at fans of dark, melancholic tones in independent pop. The WOLF Barcelona venue offers a suitable space for this type of intimate performance, where the audience attends to listen attentively to the unfolding of the compositions on stage.
