The Strokes - Reality Awaits

The Strokes arrive in Barcelona alongside Fat White Family and Alex Cameron for a major independent rock event.

The Strokes are an American rock band originating from New York, formed in 1998 and considered one of the central bands of the garage rock and post-punk revival movement. Their usual live repertoire features the songs that have defined their discography from their debut album, Is This It, to their most recent works. Their live show relies on straightforward guitars and a steady rhythm that characterises the band's energy in their performances at music venues and large arenas.

The bill also includes performances by Fat White Family and the Australian artist Alex Cameron, active since 2006 and with a solo career that began with the album Jumping the Shark. This combination of projects brings together different strands of contemporary and singer-songwriter rock in a single session.

This proposal at the Palau Sant Jordi is aimed at audiences who follow international indie rock and guitar bands from the last two decades. The venue's capacity makes it possible to host large-scale live productions for this stop in Barcelona as part of the tour.
