Overview
The exhibition is the result of research carried out by 3rd-year ESO students from INS Barres i Ones (Llefià, Badalona), as a result of the collaboration of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya through professors Adolf Sotoca and Marta Serra.
The opening featured the theatrical performance "Ana i Serafín, inquilinos de la periferia", performed by Rafa Sánchez and directed by David Martínez.
The exhibition project has been developed based on three research aspects in which the students have participated: firstly, the recognition of the geographical space to be studied, based on cartographic research of the neighbourhoods and the surroundings of the centre (in this case, INS Barres i Ones in the Llefià neighbourhood, Badalona); secondly, oral and domestic memory research, through interviews with relatives, neighbours, with the support of local archives and documentation; and finally, artistic creation, resulting in a collage designed and museographically assembled by the students themselves, inspired by the graphic work of the artist Alexander Rodchenko.
