Overview
This exhibition, located inside the Chamartín metro station, offers a detailed journey through the birth and evolution of the underground's rolling stock. With the aim of recovering the company's historical heritage, the Madrid metro has made a significant effort to restore a selection of its classic trains, which entered service between 1919 and 1965.
Alongside these trains, which are the main protagonists of the exhibition, visitors can view nearly 100 items belonging to the underground system and evocative images of a past era that is rescued today, making the journey to the modern metro of our days possible.
