About — The artist
Pioneers of hard rock alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple wrote some of the genre's founding pages: 'Smoke on the Water' and its most famous riff in history, 'Highway Star', 'Child in Time', the legendary live album 'Made in Japan'… More than fifty years after 'Machine Head', the British band are still touring, Hammond organ and guitars to the fore. Their Paris shows bring together purists and the curious around a monumental repertoire.
