Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, or Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, born on 27 January 1756 in Salzburg and died on 5 December 1791 in Vienna, was a German-Austrian composer of the Classical period. He is regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of music. Together with Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven, he brought the Viennese Classical school to its peak.
