About — The artist
Keren Meloul, born 24 May 1978 and better known as Rose, is a French singer, author and composer. After studying law, she worked as a primary school teacher before turning to music. She rose to fame in 2006 with the single "La Liste", followed by an album of the same name. Alain Souchon invited her to open for him at the Olympia in Paris and the Zénith in Paris in 2006. In 2007, she launched her own tour and performed at La Cigale, a second time at the Olympia, and in Montreal in 2008.
In 2009, she recorded her second album, Les Souvenirs sous ma frange, produced by Jérôme Plasseraud and Thibaut Barbillon. In 2013, she released a third album, Et puis juin.
She has also written songs for other artists, notably Jenifer, and took part in charity singles for Les voix de l'enfant and Sidaction, in a duet with Alain Souchon. She also contributed to the We Love Disney album with the song "Au bout du rêve".
