Poetry Slam vol. 3

The third volume of Poetry Slam, a stand-up and comedy night that brings spoken poetry live to the stage, at Ostello Bello Milano Centrale.

Poetry Slam vol. 3 is the third volume of a series dedicated to poetry performed aloud, modelled on the poetry slam, the format in which texts are read out in front of an audience. This show belongs to stand-up and comedy: the written word thus becomes performance, with an ironic register.

The format combines live comedy with oral poetry. The texts are entrusted to the voice of the performer on stage, in front of the room, and the audience hears each piece delivered directly by the performer's voice.

The show is hosted by Ostello Bello Milano Centrale, a city-centre venue that stages concerts and live shows. For those looking for an evening of spoken word and contemporary comedy, the title points to an instalment of this series held in a venue other than a traditional theatre.
