About — The artist
Motorpsycho are a Norwegian rock band, formed in 1989 in Trondheim.
The core line-up consists of Bent Sæther (vocals, bass, guitar, author of most of the songs; born 18 February 1969) and Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan (guitar and vocals; born 31 December 1969), to whom drummer Kjell Runar "Killer" Jenssen was initially added. After 1991 he was replaced by Håkon Gebhardt (drums, banjo, guitar; born 21 June 1969). Gebhardt left the band in 2005, and was only permanently replaced in 2007 by Kenneth Kapstad (born 20 April 1979, previously of Gåte), who remained in the band until 2017. In his place came Tomas Järmyr (previously a member of Zu, Yodok, YODOK lll and Sunswitch), serving until 9 January 2023. Over the years, several musicians have come and gone on stage and, above all, in the studio as additional members of the band.
The band boasts a certain prolificacy, as shown by the wealth of EPs released over the years, and a notable musical eclecticism.
