Kool Savas [ˌkuːl saˈvaːʃ] (real name Savaş Yurderi; born 10 February 1975 in Aachen) is a German rapper of Turkish descent.

Since the mid-1990s, he has been active in the Berlin hip-hop scene. Savas first became known through his involvement in the groups M.O.R. and Westberlin Maskulin. His solo albums Der beste Tag meines Lebens, Tot oder lebendig, Aura, Märtyrer, KKS and Aghori, as well as the collaborative projects One with Azad, Gespaltene Persönlichkeit with Xavier Naidoo and Royal Bunker with Sido, were commercially successful. Kool Savas is regarded as one of the most influential German rappers and one of the most important exponents of battle rap, and it was here that he, among other things, drew nationwide attention with the track Das Urteil, a diss track against the rapper Eko Fresh.
