Lars Eidinger (born 21 January 1976 in West Berlin) is a German actor, photographer and DJ. He first made his name in the theatre as a long-standing ensemble member of the Berliner Schaubühne. His first major film role, in Maren Ade's relationship drama Alle anderen (2009), established him as a film actor too. On television, he appeared between 2012 and 2021 in three NDR-Tatort cases involving Klaus Borowski, as Kai Korthals, a postman and murderer of women. In 2021 and 2022 he played the title role in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival, alongside the 'Buhlschaft' Verena Altenberger. In summer 2026 he shot his first Hollywood lead role in the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow.
