Frequently asked questions
Are zoos open all year?
Aquariums are. Outdoor wildlife parks shorten their hours in winter and sometimes close for a few weeks: the listing shows the known opening period and the hours when the venue publishes them.
Should I book a zoo ticket in advance?
It is advisable at weekends and during school holidays, when online tickets avoid the queue and are sometimes cheaper. On a weekday outside the holidays, booking the day before is usually enough.
