Entrava llum per les esquerdes. Creació col·lectiva en moviment: del vídeo comunitari a les pràctiques col·laboratives contemporànies

Entrava llum per les esquerdes proposes a journey through the multiple forms of collective creation that have emerged through video from the 1970s to the present day.

Its central axis is the experience of Vídeo-Nou / Servei de Vídeo Comunitari, an active collective in Catalonia during the Transition period that understood video not only as a technical medium, but also as a political and social tool capable of generating processes of self-organisation, neighbourhood empowerment and counter-information.

Starting from this historical core, the exhibition unfolds across different thematic zones that intertwine archives, practices and strategies of other national and international collectives, both historical and contemporary.

Far from a linear genealogy, it sets out a constellation of experiences that blur the boundaries between art and activism, document and fiction, aesthetics and ethics.

Collective creation, as proposed here, is not simply a way of working in a group, but a practice that questions the hegemonic notions of authorship, intellectual property, individual genius and narrative linearity.

When listening, negotiation and pooling come into play, these experiences invite us to rethink the forms of cultural production and to imagine other ways of relating to images, bodies and territories.

Entrava llum per les esquerdes alludes to that faint yet insistent luminosity that emerges at the margins.

The light of the screen, a vehicle for narration, presence and denunciation, becomes here a symbol of the practices that focused attention where no one was looking, that made the hidden visible, and that understood other ways of speaking and of being.

In this context, information is not presented as a closed product, but as a moving process in which informing is not merely broadcasting data, but conveying experiences, opening up questions, sharing knowledge and building relationships.
