Madrid: Concierto Clásico

Classical music concert of around 60 minutes by the Orquesta Classics de Madrid, with a soprano and a solo violinist, and a programme of Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Schubert at the Real Congregación de San Isidro.

A classical music offering of around 60 minutes performed by the Orquesta Classics de Madrid, accompanied by a soprano and a solo violinist. The programme brings together pieces by Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Schubert, including Las Cuatro Estaciones and Lacrimosa.

The performance takes place at the Real Congregación de San Isidro in Madrid, a historic church in the city centre that also hosts concerts and shows. As it is a church, the concert unfolds in a religious setting of long tradition, with the music taking centre stage from the start.

This is a live concert featuring works from a widely performed repertoire, played by the orchestra together with its soprano and solo violinist. It is a programme designed to hear live some of the most celebrated pieces of the European repertoire of the 18th and 19th centuries.
