Mirades: L'activitat humana i el foc

The Vic headquarters of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya will host, from 29 September to 16 October, the exhibition by architect and photographer Josep Xoy Soler which explores the relationship between fire, architecture and ways of life in the central counties.

The exhibition is the fourth and final display of the MIRADES cycle, an initiative by the COAC that, for four years, has explored the relationship between architecture, territory and photography based on the four elements of nature: water, earth, air and fire.

The exhibition proposes a visual journey through the role that fire has played throughout history in the configuration of the spaces we inhabit and work in. From the domestic sphere to artisanal and industrial production.

The photographs highlight how this element has conditioned ways of life, production systems and the architecture of the territory. Check further information about the exhibition "Mirades: L'activitat humana i el foc" on the website of the Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya.
