Mirades Urbanes: l’Art sobre persianes

The exhibition Mirades Urbanes brings together a selection of photographs focused on the evolution of commercial and street graffiti in Barcelona at the Sala d'Exposicions.

This cultural proposal analyses the transition of urban graffiti from its furtive origins to its consideration as a form of artistic expression applied to shop shutters. Throughout the tour of the exhibition rooms, visitors can observe a compilation divided into two thematic collections signed by the photographers Alfons Campillo and Antoni Limpo, members of the Racó de la Foto group.

The first series consists of portraits of faces with a strong expressionist character located on the city's streets, while the second compiles images of classic cars captured on the metal enclosures of garages and establishments.
