Paseo de Barco para visitar Lenguas de Lava Marinas

Guided boat trip from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to see marine lava tongues, with explanations of how the island was formed by its volcanic activity, both above and under the water.

This boat excursion follows the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife to see the marine lava tongues, that is, the volcanic lava flows that reach the sea. A team of guides with more than thirty years' experience in aquatic and underwater activities, together with a biologist and a geologist, explains the island's relief both along the coastal strip and in the submerged area, which participants can observe with their own eyes.

Photographs and videos are taken during the outing and handed to each participant at the end of the activity. The thread running through the visit is understanding how Tenerife was formed, both from the outside and from within, as a result of volcanic activity, so the proposal is useful both for those passing through the island and for those who want to learn about its geological origin from the sea.
