Simarro - Música Para Contar Historias

Classical music concert in which Simarro presents his own symphonic works and explains his compositional process, accompanied by musicians from the Orquesta Sinfónica Contemporánea de España at Teatro La Latina in Madrid.

Simarro conducts the Orquesta Sinfónica Contemporánea de España, an independent ensemble that performs contemporary music of a melodic and emotional character. The project aims to bring the symphonic repertoire closer to new audiences by combining a traditional outlook with innovative resources, and Simarro is presented as a living composer.

During the evening, Simarro explains how he wrote each of his pieces, with brief, simple and lively commentary that serves as a guide to listening. The works are performed by a group of musicians from this orchestra.

As the show is described, the audience alternates between smiles and moments of emotion throughout the concert. Teatro La Latina is a Madrid venue that hosts concerts and shows of various genres.
