Taller de Diseño e Impresión 3D: Crea tu propia pieza de diseño

Introductory workshop on 3D modelling and printing in Madrid, designed for those starting from scratch. Each participant designs their own piece and takes it home printed.

The proposal takes digital fabrication into the world of fashion and jewellery. It takes place at Nodos by G, a Madrid studio for fashion and jewellery design that also offers 3D printing workshops and courses. Starting from an idea on screen, attendees learn the basics of three-dimensional modelling and additive manufacturing in a practical way, with no prior knowledge required.

They work with PLA silk, a plant-based material, and with the biopolymer TPU. With them they test their designs and go through the entire process, from the digital file to the printed piece. There is no need to install any software beforehand: access is provided during the session, so all you need to bring is a tablet or a laptop.

It is aimed at those curious about design and digital fabrication, and at anyone who has never used these tools. The space is wheelchair accessible. At the end, each participant takes home the physical object they have created, a tangible result of the work done in the session.
