Àngel Jové. De intactu

First major retrospective of Àngel Jové, bringing together a relevant part of his production to create an intimate space around an artist who shunned institutional frameworks.

Considered one of the most enigmatic creators of the seventies, Jové moved between arte povera, informalism, and conceptualism.

His deeply multidisciplinary practice combines image, poetry, word, matter, and objects, generating spaces of resistance through plastic language and questioning the social regimes of Western societies.

The exhibition is organised around a beating centre, proposing a linear yet anachronic cartography of his works, conceived as interrelated constellations connecting present, past, and future.

Infinite series of drawings and photographs build a universe of their own that speaks of the fragility of the being and of the systems that oppress human existence.

The exhibition will occupy two floors, with a main space acting as a radiating core and lower floors conceived as an archive. You can check more information about the exhibition "Àngel Jové. De intactu" on the Museu Tàpies website. Last update: 03/02/2026
