On Saturdays from 3 to 31 October at Bululú 2120, the company La Joie de la Colina presents a show that addresses a taboo subject such as suicide from different perspectives and its impacts on society.

The play is written by Diego Da Costa and Julio Viñuela Gavela and delves into four visions of a suicide attempt, providing a detailed exploration of the experiences of the individuals involved.

The first is the person who has attempted suicide, observing the motives, internal struggles and emotions linked to the trajectory of their act. Then there is the partner of the person who attempted suicide, through whom we analyse how they experienced the moment, how they were involved in the trigger for the attempt and how this experience affected their relationship and emotional well-being.

The third perspective examines how a close relative, who initially saw suicide as something alien to them, processes and understands the situation from a place of surprise and adaptation to the new reality. Finally, it reviews how society in general treats the issue of suicide, looking at how it is presented in the media, how it influences public opinion and how it is perceived at a social level, highlighting the associated stigmas and prejudices.
