Overview
Tribute to the British group Dire Straits by Brothers In Band, with a performance at La Riviera, a Madrid venue that hosts concerts and shows.
Brothers In Band is a project that pays tribute to Dire Straits, the British group formed in London in 1977 around Mark Knopfler, guitar and vocals, and John Illsley, bass. Their debut album, released in 1978, included 'Sultans of Swing', one of their best-known songs. In 1985 they released Brothers in Arms, the album that gives its title to another of their most recognised pieces. Dire Straits disbanded in 1995.
Brothers In Band is not the original group: its show revolves around the Dire Straits repertoire and Knopfler's guitar as the main reference for the band's sound.
La Riviera is a Madrid venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this tribute to Dire Straits is programmed there.
