Ciutats en trànsit. Repensar per regenerar

The exhibition Ciutats en trànsit. Repensar per regenerar analyses the urban revitalisation strategies applied in five mid-sized Catalan municipalities.

The Sala d'Exposicions hosts this proposal focused on the transformation and future of urban environments. The exhibition itinerary examines the actions carried out in Valls, Berga, Tremp, Balaguer and Palamós, addressing the recovery of old quarters and the reconfiguration of public space. Through various documentary and graphic materials, the rooms show how these nuclei face the challenge of updating their urban fabrics and adapting their heritage to contemporary social demands.

The project is aimed at people interested in urban planning, architecture and spatial planning, offering an interpretation of the role played by intermediate cities in the European context. The curation structures the visit to understand the links between historical centres, economic activity and local landscapes, detailing specific interventions in residential areas and former productive spaces.
