Colin James

Colin James performs live at Sala Clamores in Madrid to present his repertoire of blues, country and folk.

Colin James is a Canadian songwriter, guitarist and producer associated with the blues who began his career in 1986 and released his self-titled debut album in 1988. His musical approach connects with the North American string tradition, combining the intensity of electric blues with acoustic passages rooted in folk and country. With a solid recording career developed over decades, the musician maintains a consistent trajectory focused on instrumental and vocal performance.

On this tour, Colin James takes to the stage accompanied by his regular band to offer a repertoire centred on his blues discography and adaptations of classic styles. The performance unfolds in a live concert format, with a sober staging where the spotlight falls on guitar execution and the sound of the instruments. This format is well-suited for audiences interested in live performances by established instrumentalists within the live music venue circuit.

Sala Clamores provides a space with direct visibility from the dance floor and side areas to follow the performance closely. The attending audience usually gathers around live instrumental and vocal music acts as part of the venue's regular programming in Madrid. It is advisable to check the venue's access points and door opening times before attending the concert during this stop in Madrid.
