Ebri Knight

A group of musicians sets off on an adventure to help Xesco Boix recover his lost songs.

Ebri Knight is a Catalan folk punk and folk rock group formed in Argentona in 2005. The label Propaganda pel Fet! signed them, and their first album is « Tonades de fa temps ».

In this show, a group of musicians must help Xesco Boix find the songs he has lost from his songbook. Through riddles, memory and play, the stolen songs gradually appear in a production that moves between the stage, the audience and Xesco's voice, which speaks from beyond. Halfway through the performance the Sapo Azul appears, a well-known character who takes up more and more of the stage thanks to the set design, until the musicians, with the help of the children, recover all the songs the toad had swallowed.

On stage are Alba Atcher (vocals, flute and keyboards), Arnau Aymerich (vocals, guitar and banjo), Toni Corrales (vocals, violin and banjo), Albert Avilés (bass) and Laia Anglada (drums). Toti Julià is responsible for music and sound production, Marçal Sesé for live sound and Arnau Benach for lighting design.
