This photographic exhibition presents a selection of images included in the book Espais esportius que han fet història a Barcelona. At the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica, we work to recover, preserve and disseminate the historical memory of those sports venues that marked an era and decisively contributed to forging Barcelona's sporting identity.
These spaces are not only part of the city's historical and sporting legacy, but also stand as a testament to the central role that sport has played in social, cultural and urban evolution. We invite you to discover a sample of these pioneering facilities, which laid the foundations for Barcelona to be recognised around the world today as an international capital of sport.
