KEIKO_pràctiqueS

The new gallery presents 35 works by the artist Begonya Hernàndez Ferrer, the result of a long practice of sumi-e, traditional Japanese painting, and a way of working based on concentration, gesture and the observation of nature.

Mamatua was born as a small, intimate gallery that aims to champion a more leisurely way of looking at art. The project focuses on works that convey sensitivity and unartificial beauty, inviting the viewer to pause before what they are looking at.

Mamatua is interested in a simple, imperfect and true beauty: a beauty that needs no artifice, born from matter, the hand and a natural way of doing things.

It can appear in a slightly trembling line, in a brushstroke, in the texture of a paper or in a simple form made with the hands. Check the gallery Mamatua's social media for more information on the "KEIKO_pràctiqueS" exhibition. Last updated: 17/09/2026
