Overview
Spanish-language Christmas musical following the Grinch, hiding in a cave far from Christmas, until the arrival of some unexpected visitors upsets his retreat.
La Cueva del GRINCH is a Spanish-language Christmas musical aimed at family audiences. The story opens with the Grinch sheltering in a mysterious cave, apart from Christmas and from anyone who tries to reach the heart he keeps protected. Suddenly, some unexpected visitors burst into his hideaway, and with them come laughter, songs and a certain amount of chaos.
From there, the story moves from humour to tenderness. Small gestures of care help him see the festivities from a different angle, and friendship and empathy are the central thread of the show. The production presents a different Grinch, who discovers that friendship has the power to open closed hearts.
The show is staged at the Espacio Broadway, a theatre in Madrid, and is sung in Spanish.
