Molta merda

A play in Catalan, written by Jordi Ferragut and directed by Marta Fàbregas, in which two people from very different lives become trapped together in a public toilet and must resolve a mishap.

Molta merda sets up a chance encounter: two characters with nothing in common find themselves in a public toilet and are forced to spend a while together, a stretch of time neither had planned. To get out of the mishap, each proposes a different way. One's impatience clashes with the scatterbrained nature of the other, and this difference in rhythm drives the story through unexpected twists.

The plot seeks, above all, complicity with the audience and laughter. The play is performed in Catalan, and the cast includes Jaume Fàbregas and Jordi Ferragut, who also wrote the text. It is directed by Marta Fàbregas, and the lighting and sound are handled by Pere Sanfeliu.

The show is programmed at the Teatre Centre Obrer Recreatiu in Montesquiu, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the town. It is a comedy centred on the relationship between the two characters, relying on dialogue and on situations that become increasingly tangled on a single stage.
