Mono

Mono performs at Sala Apolo as part of their tour, presenting their characteristic instrumental post-rock sound.

Mono is a Japanese post-rock music band formed in 1999 in Tokyo. Their discography includes key releases such as their debut album, Under the Pipal Tree, released in 2001 via Rykodisc, a work that established the aesthetic foundations of the group, centred on instrumental tension, dynamic crescendos, and the use of string arrangements within a rock structure.

Live, the formation displays an instrumental repertory where electric guitars converse with passages of great sonic intensity and calculated silences. The concerts are usually structured into long compositions that transition from ambient atmosphere to massive distortion, requiring attention from the audience.

This proposal is aimed at fans of post-rock and instrumental rock who seek detailed listening dynamics. Sala Apolo offers the technical space necessary to host the frequencies and volume characteristic of the band during this stop in Barcelona.
