Squeeze

British band Squeeze visits Barcelona to review their career at Sala Apolo as part of their live tour.

Squeeze is an English new wave band formed in London in 1974. Throughout their long career, the lineup signed a contract with A&M Records and recorded significant material in the late 1970s, as well as during the 1980s, 1990s and 2010s. The ensemble's repertoire reflects the British songwriting tradition, characterised by careful lyrics and accessible melodies within the pop, rock and indie spectrum.

Live, Squeeze offers a journey through their historical catalogue on stage, adapting their classic compositions to concert formats that combine instrumental precision and rhythmic continuity. The musical proposal is aimed at an audience interested in the history of British pop and new wave. Sala Apolo provides a suitable space to follow the performances with close proximity between the audience and the band.
