Live flamenco tablao set in a cave with old brick vaulting, three minutes from the Puerta del Sol, in central Madrid.
The Tablao Flamenco Esencial is three minutes from the Puerta del Sol and occupies a vaulted cave built with old bricks. In its small space for the musicians, flamenco is performed live in front of the audience.
Without speakers or microphones, the sound is amplified by the cave itself. On arrival, a drink is offered, which can be chosen from sangria, wine, beer, soft drink or juice.
A few minutes before the start, the audience enters the cave to listen to an introductory talk on the origins of flamenco and its historical development. This makes it easier to follow the gestures and expressions of the artists during the performance, which lasts one hour.
