THE SHEEPDOGS - Out All Night Tour

The Sheepdogs at Sala But

One of the most powerful groups on the rock-blues scene visits Sala But on 6 December as part of their new international concert tour entitled the Out All Night Tour.

The Sheepdogs began their journey as a band in 2006 at the University of Saskatchewan under the name The Breaks, a blues and soul group formed by vocalist Ewan Currie, bassist Ryan Gullen, drummer Sam Corbett, guitarist Jimmy Bowskill and Shamuss Currie on keyboards. Shortly afterwards, in 2007, they changed their name, but kept their style and sound practically intact, releasing their first album Trying to Grow.

The band managed to conquer the cover of Rolling Stone magazine after winning a competition, becoming the first group to achieve such a milestone without being under the protection of a record label. Following this success, they signed with Atlantic Records and recorded a new album that won them three Juno awards and began to gain worldwide recognition while maintaining their sound faithful to the roots that characterise them.

The style of The Sheepdogs stands out for fusing boogie with elements of psychedelic music, rockabilly and typical US southern rock. Throughout their career they have performed at major festivals around the world such as South by Southwest in Texas and Edgefest in Toronto.

The group released their eighth studio album, Keep Out Of The Storm, in February 2026 through their own label, Right On Records. This work marks the beginning of a new phase following Outta Sight (2022) and the EPs Paradise Alone and Hell Together, and also marks their first release without founding drummer Sam Corbett.

Several drummers participate in this new album, including Jordan Murphy who features on the track Nobody But You alongside Trevor Falls, Adam Hindle, Steve Kiely and Dani Nash, reflecting a phase of transition and evolution in the band's sound.
