Transhumància

Children's street theatre show built around transhumance: shepherds, goats and a dog take their flock to the spot where the audience gathers.

Transhumància is a street theatre production built around the seasonal migration of flocks, which climb to the mountains in summer and descend to the lowlands in winter. On stage, the shepherds, the goats and the dog are the main characters, and the performance moves to wherever the audience is.

The audience also has an active role: the show invites those attending to become protagonists, with questions about how milking is done or how one plays a wolf. The staging includes puppets, whose design is by Òscar Ribes, and the costumes are designed by Imma Juanós, while the costume making and puppet construction are handled by Creamix.

On stage are Jordi Granell, Imma Juanós, Oriol Granell, Òscar Ribes and Víctor Polo. The idea and direction are by Jordi Granell, Òscar Ribes and Oriol Granell, and the music is by Pau Abrego, Jordi Granell and Òscar Ribes. The production is by Xip Xap SL and the performance is in Catalan.
