La Virreina Centre de la Imatge presents Vuit, an exhibition that reviews the dialogue maintained by Frederic Amat with various creators throughout his career.

La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, a centre dedicated to image and culture in Barcelona, hosts this exhibition which brings together various collaborations between the artist Frederic Amat and numerous writers, poets, playwrights and philosophers from the 1970s to the present day. The exhibition route encompasses works linked to the word, the stroke, the image and joint reflection. Among the elements making up the rooms, a short film conceived expressly for this Barcelona venue alongside Chantal Maillard stands out, in addition to materials generated from creative relationships with authors such as Mark Strand, J. V. Foix, Octavio Paz and Guillermo Cabrera Infante.

This proposal is aimed at both contemporary art enthusiasts and the curious interested in the confluence between literature and visual creation. The setup outlines an itinerary where the works and documents demonstrate how the artistic process is constructed through the exchange of epistles and questions with multiple senders.
