Mocedades

Mocedades is a Spanish music group formed in Bilbao in 1967. They represented Spain at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Eres tú’, a song that became one of the biggest hits in the contest's history, entering the sales charts of several countries, including the United States.

In 1993, former members formed El Consorcio, led by Amaya Uranga and Carlos Zubiaga, joined by Sergio, Estíbaliz and Iñaki Uranga.

But Mocedades carried on with a constant coming and going of members, with Javier Garay and Izaskun Uranga leading the group, until the latter left and created a Mocedades of her own, something that was possible because both singers had registered the Mocedades trademark.
